[ST] counter balance shaft?

I've been lurking over on the t5 mailing list, and a discussion came up
over there about vibrations. Apparently some people have experienced a
problem on the t5's with the counter balance shaft being off by a few
degrees.

Since I got my 99 last May, it's had a vibration that's there through
pretty much the entire rpm range. The bike had an engine rebuild last
February. The dealer that did it told me this vibration is a result of
the kind of bearing they used when they did the rebuild. I had the 12k
service done by the other dealer near me and told them to try and sort
it out. They readjusted all the engine mounts, tightened the clip-ons
and some other things, but the vibration is still there.

So what I'm wondering is if the 955 sprints were affected by this
counter balance shaft problem (or if they even have such a thing--though
I'm assuming they do, since the motor's pretty much shared with the 955i
Daytonas, right?) and if it's possible to check yourself?

Thanks,
Brian
