Cam!  I think you are finally starting to get it!!!

"All colors are mixed together, cancelling out the reflective qualities of 
each other, producing a substance that, end the end, reflects NO COLOR, and 
we call that substance BLACK."

Or, to put it another way, red reflects the red portion of the spectrum, but 
absorbs all others, blue reflects blue but absorbs red and the rest of the 
spectrum, and so on.  So do see that by mixing red and blue you have already 
canceled both colors reflection of light, by adding yellow, green, ect... 
till you get to NO COLOR REFLECTION, the "non-color" black.

Try dusting off your deductive reasoning, and logic, my friend.
