Have used it for years on face shields w/no problem.

Generally takes a couple of coats/applications to be effective. Moisten rag
and swab it on. Let air dry. Then repeat. After second coating is dry,
gently rub out any spotting that develops.

An application will last a few mo's of steady use.....
