Sorry Rich,
I can't let that go without comment.

Charging rates are measured in amp/hours.  If the charging
system's output exceeds the draw on the system, then even a large
capacity battery can & will become fully charged at a low
charging rate given time.

Conversely, if the amount of time the charging system has to
replenish the battery is inadequate (short trips) or the charging
system is unable to exceed the operational draw, then the state
of charge will diminish to the point where the reserve capacity
of the batttery will be unable to supply the needs of the
starting process.

A charging system can be likened to a water system.  The battery
is the tank.  You can fill a tank with a garden hose or a fire
hose.  One just takes longer.
