Re: [ST] fuel smell



If it is the sender, the first place you'll see signs of it is on the
alternator. Look on the top and see if it is wet. Once the leak gets bigger
you will find a puddle of fuel on the ground but you really want to get it
fixed before it gets to that point.

The leaking senders worked ok, they just leaked. The original senders were
the ones that bounced around. When they fixed that problem, they created
the leaking problem.

The leaking senders did eventually get recalled.
