[ST] Praise where it's due

Christmas was good to both myself and the ST this year and I just wanted to take
the opportunity to praise the people and products involved.

First of all a mention for that Lilly chappie who sponsors the list.
I fancied a set of one piece leathers and contacted Lilleys about the Triumph
Excelerator suit. A quick email and Kathleen had a size sorted for me. A further
phone call to Snowey and I'd swapped my VISA number for a promise that the goods
would be despatched immediately. Two days later the package arrived at my
doorstep. Top marks all around.

Secondly and honourable word for Mark Todd in Sargent who went to a lot of
effort to organise economical shipping between the US and Ireland for my new
seat cover. I went for a solo, wraparound seat look with the carbon effect seat
insert and the remainder of the cover colour matched to the silver paintwork. A
nice product, beautifully made and promptly delivered.

Finally a very special mention for Motolights. I can't praise the service I
received from Tina highly enough. All my questions were answered quickly, the
shipping costs were reasonable and there was even a hand written note in with
the package. Full marks for efficiency and customer service. As for the product,
I may be the only one who has fitted both the PIAA 1100X and Motolights (not at
the same time) to the ST and I have to say that the Motolights are a far
superior product. The quality of workmanship on the lights themselves is beyond
reproach, Polished metal vs easy shatter plastic. The harness supplied is fused
and designed specifically for a motorcycle (The PIAA offering isn't) and the
instructions and tools supplied make the instalation an easy process. They
aren't quite as bright as the PIAAs out of the box but then, they are supplied
with 35W bulbs rather than the 55W PIAAs. The lights can be upgraded to over 70W
each but being honest, the 35W bulbs provide ample illumination for my needs and
give the electrical system an easier time. I can't recommend this product or
dealing with the Hollaenders highly enough.
