Hello All, Again,
Looking for help/advice. Feel the '01 ST is geared too high with the 19
tooth countershaft sprocket. Have ordered/recieved from Lilley's a 17 tooth
countershaft sprocket to replace it. Need advice on install, tools needed
(sprocket/gear puller?), chain adjustments (remove links?), possible
problems (I have the Triumph hugger installed....conflict?), etc. . And if I
need to cut a link or two from the stock chain, with what should I replace
it? Looking for brand names here. Appreciate everyone's input on my oil
change questions (figger I'll stick with Triumph brand Mobil 1 4T). Thanks
for all the help, and this site is invaluable,
Bill Sanders
