[ST] too soon for a tire thread?

I was very impressed with the write up Metzeler's new  Sportec M1 received 
in the new issue of Motorcycle Consumer News, they really liked this 
tire.  I realize it's so new that no one has any feedback, but I'm about to 
replace my original BT57's (at 6.5 K), and will either go to the standard 
replacement of this new puppy, the Bridgestone 020.  Pricing on the M1 is 
pretty hot,

   What are YOUR preferences.  I'm not headed for Deal's Gap, or the
