[ST] Inside stock can

I have the original muffler off my '99 ST that was replaced with the carbon
fiber unit.  It is slightly scratched so has little value.  The outside
stainless skin is held on by 8 rivets.  Has anyone taken this thing apart to
modify the internals to get a better (louder) sound?
