I've had the Triumph tank bag from day one and have nothing bad to say about
it. I haven't noticed any turbulence differences during the times that I've
ridden without it on. When I do ride without it, it feels a little weird
because of the height difference. What the heck do I do with all that space?
Not really comfortable to lean all the way down there and that would
probably look silly anyway.

Interesting. Turbulence is *increased* with my rather
un-aerodynamic Triumph tank bag installed. It's sufficiently
annoying that I've been working on a harness to install the bag
on the rear of the seat & just have the map holder on the tank.
YMMV.
How about some additional input here. Do the lower profile
curved-contour tankbags affect turbulence?
