RE: [ST] Re: New Bike With Less Plastic

Well Linda, I suppose it's nice to know you'll be back in the saddle again
soon, but I'm VERY disappointed to know you haven't given Triumph another
chance.

I will politely, but absolutely disagree with you about pricing and
availability of parts. I have had only one issue with parts, a turn signal
relay that I toasted from my own error. It was in stock at only one of 3
dealers I queried, but I got one. My crash parts (from Jack Lilley Triumph)
were at my door in the same time it took to get the same for my Katana
(www.ronayersmotorsports.com), and cost was truly the same or better. The
bikes themselves are marginally more expensive than their Japanese peers,
but for me it's a small enough price to pay for some degree of exclusivity.

It's going to be a tough one to explain to people why the president of
Triumph Riders of New England rides a Yamaha. So....what color is your new
ride, and will you be getting the Givi's for it? If so, check out what my
friend Dave did with his FZ-1 and it's Givi's:

Happy riding.
