Yeah, I could EASILY believe that, based on my 2nd email and picture, as
well as the vibration the bike has.  Also, from my experience with their
service mgr trying to fix my fuel leak.

I think everything is pointing to that.

Well, first I'm going to take my evidence to Eurosport (where the
rebuild was done) and see what they say.  They now have a new service
mgr.  I expect them to tell me "tough sh1t.  It was fine when we did
it," and not offer any help.

I think I am going to try this at home.  I tore down an 81 Yamaha Maxim
650 in my past, and done some pretty extensive auto repairs on my own.  
Also, I'm unemployed, so I have plenty of time and not a lot of money.

Tom is going to let me borrow his manual until mine comes in.  I'm going
to review the procedure and make a shopping list.  If I decide to do the
work, I also won't start it until after the Eastern Rallye.
