RE: [ST]Wide Loads and Mirror Extensions

Methinks the most vocal complainers are the RS riders. A look at the fine
photos from the recent Welsh Sprint Invasion reveals that the RS's mirrors
are narrower than the ST's, which seem to be about at the limit. Of course,
the RS's mirrors CAN be set up so that Mr. Poeleeeceman coming up in the
ADJACENT lanes can be spotted (he says with relief this morning), but to
actually see what is BEHIND you in the same lane... nahhhhh, not without
doing the RubberElbow trick. If the rider's midsection is, er, more robust,
ya, that's it, "more robust", than their shoulders, then the ELBOW width
takes priority. Toss in a pair of stout elbow sliders in the jacket and
voila, even the ST riders will be asternally vision impaired.
