[ST] Mirror Extension

Subject: RE: [ST] Mirror Extensions

Am I particularly narrow compared to the other listers? I think the mirrors
on the ST are perfectly fine, and have no problems seeing behind or beside
me when riding. I'm surprised that there are so many complaints.

You people do realize you can adjust and aim them, don't you? You just grab
the mirror part and swivel it around on the pivot thingy.

I agree, and will add the following. I'm 6'2" and Wide of Shoulder and when I
ride upright, with straight arms and back and bent wrists, I get a great view
of my elbows.
OTOH, when I ride with proper "riding" posture, gripping tanks with knees,
balls of feet (not arches) on pegs, nice curve in back and close to a 90
degree angle in elbows and straight wrists, I can see nothing but road behind
me, with no adjustment of the mirrors themselves.

YMMV
