Re: [ST] Re: Tire Longevity



My brother recently fitted a MZ4 front and a ME880 touring tire on the rear
of his Concours. He likes the combo so far. He was able to ride Deals Gap a
couple of weekends ago and was touching down pegs and centerstand with no
tire slip. He puts 20000 + a year on that bike, but doesn't like using pure
touring tires. So he goes though a lot of rubber.
On the Concours he finds the MZ4's least likely to cup on the front and
finds Metzler gives him the best grip of the touring tires he's tried. Time
will tell how many miles he gets out of the rear.
