You would have to ask yourself two questions WRT the new VFR:

1.    Why did remaining stocks of last years model get snapped up and put
into storage by local (OZ) bike hire companies?

2.    Why are sales of this years model struggling at 2 units per month
(reliable source from larger dealership) in the south east qld region?

Apart from the appearance factor, the new model just hasn't taken with the
local region.  Was out at Pro-Honda last week and could not see an old model
VFR on the used bike park.  Last year I would have seen anything up to 8
examples of varying age etc as riders traded up or sideways.

WRT to Ashely's post regarding VFR v ST Sprint, can only agree with his
comments as found myself making the same choice based on after sales service
etc (plus it's a damn fine looking bike especially when it's Sapphire
Blue!!)
