Re: [ST] new front wheel needed!!

> Well, my trusty ST and I had a little run in with a curb

Hi Curt

I hit a huge flint on my RS not long ago, and did much the same. At first my
dealer was talking about repair, but after their wheel specialist took a
look they said replace. Gentle bends can be taken out of alloy safely by the
right folk, but mine actually had a sharp kink in the rim, and straightening
it would have weakened it too much. So find a wheel specialist, and do what
they say. I was lucky enough to find a good ST wheel second hand, which
again my specialist took a look at when it came to make sure that IT hadn't
also been repaired. He was happy. It bolted right on, a straight swap. Tip:
don't throw the old wheel away until you've got the rotors and bearings out.
