[ST] engine management light

I just sycronized the throttle bodies on my 2001 RS this 
morning (runs much smoother now), while I was 
running the bike without the air box off I didn't have
the inlet air temp sensor hooked up so now the
engine managment light is on. Will it go out by 
itself or do I need to go the dealer to get it reset.
I check the archives and some post say it will go
out after 3 heat cycles others  say you have to
go to the dealer???
