[ST] Blocked water drain

I too had found that my water drain around the fuel fill area had clogged
up. So I checked it out yesterday. I found two things first that the hose
with the check valve had been installed on the wrong nipple and that no
matter WHAT I tried to do I couldn't get the water drain unplugged ( trying
the bicycle plump trick someone mentioned etc) So I took it to my GREAT
dealer Freehold Triumph this AM and they found that the nipple it self was
totally corroded! They removed it and were able to unblock it. I'd
recommend to any with older ST's or RS's that you make sure that first the
correct hose is on the correct nipple ( the fuel vapor one is the front
one, the rear one is the water drain) and that if you are finding water
under the fuel cap after washing or after being in the rain that you get it
checked out.
