Re: [ST] Honest opinions please

Steve -

Has your bike been fixed? If so, cool - ride it and enjoy.

Do you think that TMA owes you something other than whatever repair was
completed and covered under warranty? If so - what? And why?

Was your reply letter signed by Peter Carleo? He IS the customer relations
dept. at TMA. If his response was inadaquate then respond to him with a
letter explaining why you think it was and cc Dan Harmon [Operations Mgr
TMA]. It is true that Mike Vaughan is CEO but he is traveling frequently and
the two individuals referenced above are [almost] always "in the office"
therefore response time will be shorter.

TMA is small - fewer than 50 employees at corporate - so there is not much
ladder to climb if you are interested in speaking to a "manager". By the way
- - they all ride motorcycles, many of them commute on Triumph products
including Sprint ST's, Speed Triples, Thunderbirds - you name it.

Oddly enough some TMA employees subscribe to lists such as this - or the
magpie truimph list, as well as others such as the T5 list - so they usually
have a "feel" for what is going on in the "real world".

Bottom line - warranties cover mechanical issues. There is no warranty on
your plans or your life or your state of mind when something that is supposed
to work does not. If you still have mechanical issues then whack those boys
until they listen to you.

Cheerio,
Road Dawg Kenny
