Of course, you are now talking to a bunch of riders who would only be
under the over pass long enough to get the rain suit on. And I can
honestly say with dunplops shoed, I also rarely slow down my droning. Of
course I rarely exceed the speed limit interstates by 15 mph (montana
excepted). Twisties are obviously a bit different, I will slow down a
bit more when the roads are wet.

On the 9r I rode out to FL, on the way back I rode through a tropical
depression.  last for about a state, and the only thing bad I could say
about it was I wish I had better boots and gloves. I now have the boots,
I just need better gloves for the wet.
