Re: [ST] Clutch cable

Jack about a year ago I ordered a spare cable when the failures
started. About 2-3 months later my dealer called and told me that the
spare I had ordered was one of the defectives. He then replaced it
under the recall. I can tell you that the new ones look different
than the originals the elbow is no longer shiny steel but black. If
you're spare has the shiny metal elbow than I'd suggest that it is
suspect. Maybe your dealer would replace it with a new one?

Erik

PS: What I may do is replace my original with the new one and keep
the old as the spare.
