Ah, but the Stage II kit has the engine parts to help it take the higher
pressure ......

I too questioned a turbo, because for about the same (with labor) or less
one could use Wilcox Racing Engines (across the pond) and get 140+ HP at the
rear wheel with the top end rebuild.

I know someone previously mentioned that Wilcox may not be of the best
quality, but when the time comes for me I'm gonna talk it over with my
mechanic and determine if we should use Wilcox or do it ourselves. Either
way I think it will be better than a turbo because turbo's shorten the
engine life.

Think about it. All a turbo is doing is forced more air at a positive
pressure. This will therefore increase the chamber pressure on the
compression stroke hence making a bigger BANG. I would venture to say that
without making changes to the engine and just adding a turbo, that engine
component life is shortened.

I think installing performance inards (i.e. better sleeves, pistons, and
shot peened components, etc.) would be a better solution. I'll let you know
in a year when my warranty expires and I/someone play(s) with the engine.

My thoughts.
