Wow, the wheelie thread....reminds me of the old days on the CBR
list...sniff sniff..
Not that I would know anything about this....ahem, ahem....but my 01 BRG
Sprint ST with stock gearing (19/43) will easily loft the front wheel in
1st gear. Believe it or not, try lower rpms. Start off normally, bring
the rpms to about 4,200, hold it there a second, and then whack away. No
throttle-chopping necessary. I find that if I...I mean, if it was tried
higher in the rpms by someone else...yeah, that will work...then the
throttle must be chopped first. 4200-4500 RPMs seems to be a good range to
start in, or so I have heard. ;-)
