I am glad you are OK and hope the car is repairable without any problem.
I am sure this is a little cold, but to bad the kid didn't get hurt. How
old was he? I am sorry, but even if you had started pulling out, if he had
been traveling the speed limit or nut cutting lanes at an intersection, the
accident might have been avoided. I see to many young kids (16-19, and some
older) that have no clue about safety and road manners on the road. And,
unfortunately, a lot of that attitude permiates other parts of their life,
too.
