Re: [ST] JR Phoenix

Eric and list:

I'm in full agreement with Eric's assessment. I now live on the Texas coast
where 75 to 90+% temperatures and 75 to 85+% humidity is common. The
Phoenix is the only jacket I have found that is comfortable in high
temperatures and/or high humidity riding (I have two perforated leather
jackets which I really like but are just two hot here in the summer). I am
really glad I bought the Phoenix jacket (thanks again to Jack Hays for the
tip).

P.S. This is a big "Harley" riding area . . .lots of Harleys, T shirts,
blue jeans, boots, chained wallets, and, of course, that wonderful
invention, the cloth rag bandanna "helmet". When I come riding up on my
red Daytona wearing an full coverage Arai helmet, Joe Rocket Phoenix jacket,
perforated leather gloves, Draggin jeans and boots in this weather, the
Harley group look at me like I'm from another planet.

Unfortunately, the average is about one motorcycle death a month.
Invariably the newspaper account is "the rider of the Harley motorcycle was
not wearing a helmet".
