Was this one aimed at me?

I've only just switched, and not had chance to make hay...

Again, the theoretical difference is 18/43 = 157; 18/45 = 150, i.e. 7 mph

As mine is a YOM '99, it came with 18/43 stock. The reason I shortened the
gearing was that I wanted more wumph at lower (<100 mph) speeds. With the
stock 108-link chain, 18/45 gives a significant shortening in wheelbase,
which I hope will quicken the steering a tad.

I've charted the differences in wheelbase, ride height, net tractive effort
(thrust) and theoretical acceleration for 18/43 vs 18/45 on my website:

pictures for now; words to follow when I get the time.
