Well, my bike is one of the early '99 models, so it's been on the road
since April of '99. OTOH, I got a new rear shock at 45,000 miles under
the original 24-month warrantee, and it still had four months left to
run. IIRC, I was at about 55,000 miles when the original warrantee ran
out.
As for the LD riding - sorry to disappoint. The bike has never been
outside of California. In fact, the furthest it's been from L.A. is
San Francisco, and that only twice. The miles come from a lot of days
like this past monday, when I made a 300-mile service call.

I'd be interested as well. Think Triumph will send me a ball cap when
I get over 100,000 miles?

Nah. It's all the Sprint. If it weren't so darn reliable, I'd never
have gotten this far.
