after trying out a few different foam plugs, i walked across the
street to grainger and bought a box of 200 pair for right around
$20.
i commute 5 days a week year round, and i use each pair for about
10 days. 250 work days = 25 pairs of plugs @ $0.10 = $2.50/yr.

ya know, now that i realize how much i'm saving on earplugs, i'm
gonna go ahead and order that remus pipe!

personally, i know there's *no way* i wouldn't lose/destroy
a custom pair. not a question of 'if', but 'when'... ;)
