[ST] Re: Pappy's Run

Ken,

  I. too, wear my helmet at all times, including last weekend when I was
in Arizona (no helmet law), but I would not hesitate in joining a group
that was celebrating the freedom of choice on the matter. I doubt that
I would have received any serious negativity from the other
participants. I rode with some HD guys to Laughlin on my RS, but they
did not say diddly squat about my choice of ride, nor my choice to ride
with a helmet when we were in Bullhead, AZ. So let's return the favor,
and not be negative about their choosing to ride helmetless. There are
too few motorcyclists as a whole for us to be turning against ourselves
like this. While I understand that there are different types of riders,
just as there are different types of bikes, there is really no need for
one group (or individual) to be negative toward another. If we stick
together, and support each other's rights, we will all benefit. If not,
our rights will surely erode much faster. 'Nuff said.
