[ST] Crash Update - RS

Wanted to give everyone the details on repairing the RS.

Thanks to my favorite person on this list, Ken M., I took his advice and
called Jack Lilley for 3 of the 4 pieces needed to get the bike up and
running. One of the side panels is missing a clip, so my better half is
going to try to rig something up so it attaches to the bike properly. Being
an engineer, I have full faith he'll be able to do it!

The people at Lilley's are very friendly and their prices are VERY
reasonable! Kinda scary that it's cheaper to have them sent from across the
pond than to drive up to New Hampshire and get them.

Parts should be here by next week, which is cool because I really want to do
TAA when it begins. Bike won't be fixed for Americade, but I have the FZR to
use.

I found a stock muffler (yuck, but for a 100.00, it will do for now). The
big hurdle is going to be this Saturday when I take the bike down to a local
marina and see if one of the guys can weld the headlight thingie back to the
bike. Sorry for not being technical, but I have no idea what it's called.

Got my leathers fixed on Monday. Let's hope the stitching holds up!

I did check out E-bay and did find parts, but they were all in orange.
Personally, I think my bike would look like a big freakin' Lucky Charm if I
had both orange and yellow on it, so I passed on those parts. One must be
fashionable while riding!! ;-) The husband did find a new fairing brace on
E-bay for 60.00, and that was shipped out today.

Most of all, I want to thank those of you who emailed me to see if I was
o.k. Nice to know there is people out there that care!

Wes,
If my husband can not fix the side panel(s), I will e-mail you privately and
send them out to you.

Well, I've rambled long enough. Thanks for reading!
