Even if you learn to brake very well, ABS can still be very helpful.
All the tests that show non-ABS as quicker stopping are done on dry & clean 
pavement. And a test is never a panic situation. ABS is at its best in wet, dirty or 
icy conditions. It is so very hard to practice your panic stops in wet conditions.
