Well said! When they come out with a GPS system that comes preloaded with
detailed maps of every state and Canada, and/or downloads additional maps as
you need them, wirelessly on the fly, and includes a heads-up display, and
maybe a pleasant voice to give me specific directions ("Turn right at the
next light...") and is less than $200, I'll buy one. Till then I'll stick
with paper maps. (I don't ask for much, do I?)

The only argument against a laptop might be that the GPS fits your needs
better. Frankly though, what is wrong with a damn map!?
