Joel,

This is really simple to fix if you know a machinist you trust. All it takes
is about 5 minutes each to mill the groove in each bar, using a ball-end
mill. The stock bars have it in there already, so just bring one with you
for measurement.

If you can't find someone local to help you, send them to me and I'll turn
them around in 24 hours, but you gotta pay shipping and a wee bit for my
time.

I gotta wince though....$450 for Helibars? Holy crap. I could carve my own
out of billet aluminum with my Leatherman tool for....well....a LOT less
than that. But I like the stock bars on my RS just perfect.
