The TZ250 I race is strictly modern - a '99.

Decently tuned, the modern ones (essentially '93 to present) make ~82hp 
@240lbs (give or take a couple). World GP rides about another 10-12hp (for 
an extra $70k). They're still touchy in the throttle. 0-14k rpm wit a 1/4 
turn throttle. At 8.8k rpm, there's no motor. At 9k rpm you have all of it. 
Defines the meaning of "light touch".

Roberts raced a TZ750. Once. And then spake the infamous "They don't pay me 
enough to ride that thing" (or something to that effect). Anything that can 
scare King Kenny ought to be fun to throw a leg over, hehe.
