Definately, so far I've had a 7200 mile 14 day cruze, 4,000 mile
6 day, and started on a ~6,000 miles 10 day trip, but that was
cut to 2500 miles due to an assasin rock in northern california.
Love the bike and have put over 10 900+ miles days on it.

Could not go wrong.

Interesting, don't know if I would want something turning the
right grip for me. I have had a throttle meister on mine, and
that has done the trick for short periods of time to get my
right hand off the grip for a minute or so.

Don't know. I am quite happy with the 3 bag setup.

others will comment, but this has definately been done.

About the only things that I have seen, there have been issues
with the fuel sender leaking, but that has been fixed. And of
course the rubber washers on the fuel connectors and the
connectors themselves can fail, but that is usally at service
time. And those can be avoided, well except for the washers,
they are disposable. But as long as you are carefull the
connectors can take a reasonable amount of abuse. But both those
problems will be caught before you go on a long trip.

YUP.

Why, after about 3 to 4k miles, my seat on the ST was perfect.
Just have to break it in. When I rode Brians I noticed exactly
how much my seat had conformed to my butt.

Not often, but it is easy to do.

No worries mate, the bike is a good one. If my bike does get
totaled the only bike that will be seriously looked at for
replacement is the FJR1300.

cheers,
Tom
