Kinda ugly, IMHO. Plus, it looks like you'll have to take them off to 
clean behind them. As others have posted, you can find very thick 
ScotchCal-type adhesive vinyl that you can cut to shape; much less 
visible, and you won't have to clean behind it, either. (I bet you can 
find pre-cut versions, too, but I don't know of any off the top o' my head.)
