I'm picturing the younger brother in "A Christmas Story"
all bundled up like the Michelin Man, heading off to school...

Do you have a fleece neck tube or similar for the
area between the top of your jacket collar and the
bottom of your helmet?

I tried one of the fancier versions of these (sirius?)
that had neoprene over nose/mouth, and fleece below, but
I found it restrictive. picked up a fleece tube which
works great. I can tuck it up under my helmet edge, and
over my suit collar, and it really prevents a lot of
heat loss.

also, what's your windscreen like? something a bit
taller/wider to throw more of the air over/around you
can help quite a bit.

I've also seen people set up a pair of those mx brush
guards(?) to keep the wind off your hands. Would look pretty
goofy on a sportbike, but when it's that cold, people
just assume you're a nutcase anyway ;)

Me? 3.5 weeks till the nice folks at the Gerbing booth
take my money, and hand me a bag full of warm lovin'...
