yeah they are cool, but the costs, plus the drain on
my battery start to add up.  Perhaps heated grips and
a venture into making my own jacket might be in order
this winter:

Right now going to try the new stuff I ordered, and if
that doesn't work I'll just use them for snowboarding
and other winter sports.
