The news about Eric was very sad, but his injuries made me think; how many
of us have decent back protection armour in our jackets?

Mine doesn't, so I always wear a back protector, but it's only half-length,
like a wide waistband.  When I buy my next jacket it will definitely have
good back armour; I don't consider that foam padding is sufficient.
