Not only does it carry a Gold cert from the UK, which qualifies it as a FIM
approved road racing helmet as well, but it also is the first to pass the EU
522 standard for helmet gear.  Much more stringent than Snell, and more
precise as well.  This is a good helmet, in my opinion.

Not that I'm aware of, as you mentioned they aren't certified here
(DOT? Snell?) but carry the Gold UK cert which I hear is more hearty a
test than the States's.  True?
