[ST] My mileage sucks too!

We've visited this topic before I believe.

The first summer with my '00 ST I was getting a steady 50 U.S. MPG.

The second summer when I was having all of my difficulties I rarely got better
than 40 U.S. MPG.

When I first got my new '01 ST I was barely getting 45 U.S. MPG.

They loaded the high performance tune (my bike is bone stock) to solve a rough
running condition. Now I pretty much get the lower end of the 35 to 45 U.S.
MPG range.

All these figures are based on riding solo w/tankbag & no luggage with a mix of
freeway and in town. I am not a particularly aggressive rider.

Every time I've ever taken it in and asked about it they say it's running rich
and adjust the CO level and there is no difference in my mileage.

The bike has been running great most of the summer & I'll just hope that at the
12k mile service they can put a new tune in and it will improve.
