The discs "float" on the carriers and are attached by the "buttons". Yes,
there should be a little "play" there but someone with more expertise as
to the spec would have to say if .5mm is right, sounds right to me.
As time goes on, corrosion and grime combine to "freeze" the floating
action. Any good way to keep 'em clean? Granted, mine are a little
different since they are EBC (replaced OEM due to warpage) but they are
pretty similar in design.
