Absolutely!  I did about 25,000km in the first 18 months with my 99 ST and I
only had two big problems - 1) radio interference wouldn't let me disable
the alarm and 2) bike wouldn't start because Scotty Duhg had left the kill
switch off (yes, I know you're not supposed to use it).  If I was going out
to buy a new bike tomorrow, either an ST or a Tiger would be top on my list.
I might test ride an FJR1300, I would look briefly at Aprilia and probably
decide that their dealer network is likely to have the same problems as
Triumph and I would not consider a BMW as I have tried several in the last
couple of years and was not particularly impressed by any.
