[ST] is it LEAN?

I had my bike in for it's 6000-mile service about 700 miles ago.  Now, when 
I come of the gas after acceleration, such as slowing down from 120 mph for 
an upcoming turn, the exhaust crackles/burbles.  It kind of reminds me of a 
carbureted bike.  Also, the headers and exhaust pipe and the muffler (at the 
point where the pipe attaches to the chrome bit before the carbon fiber 
starts) are nicotine yellow. Is this bike running too lean?
