I'm running Spectro 10w/40 semi-synthetic as supplied by my dealer in both my
Triumphs since new (he also offers the Triumph oil but says using either is a
non-issue with warranty). I've used Spectro 10w/40 in all my bikes since the
late '70's (Yamaha's, Suzuki, Kawasaki, Triumph) and never had a problem. I
don't believe you would have a problem using a 10w/40 grade oil.
