[ST] New Member to the list <pics!>

Hello Everyone,

My name is Bryce, from Stamford, CT riding a 94'
Kawasaki ZX-11D.

Pics of my bikes along with travels etc. etc. can be
found here:

Found the list and because interested in Triumph ST
from a new riding buddy of mine, Harry from Northport,
Long Island. Not sure if he is on the list (rides a
green 2002 ST with hardbags) but he sent me to the
site for some more info. I love my ZX-11's power, but
when we swapped bikes in the backroads of Mass two
wknds ago my ears were definitely perked.

Initial impressions of the bike:

- -lots of parts interchangeable with Kawi according to
Harry

- - Very useable power, right in the 4-6,000 RPM range
for nice cornering power.

- - Love those hardbags, was envious as Harry threw his
stuff in his bags, and I carried my gear into the
eatery.

- - Bike is almost too quiet, didn't know which gear I
was in. Comparing this to my zx-11D with Full D&D
exhaust. hehe.

- - Felt like with his aftermarket Corbin Seat (has
stock Corbin move the driver portion up an inch so no
sliding around, Y Corbin sets their stock seats like
this is beyond be, I only need one driving position) I
was stuck in one position, but a comfy one at that
standing at 5-10 175lbs and with his Genmar risers I
thought I could go all day.

- - Wind protection was better than my zx-11, my
windshield is angled back for highspeeds aeros.

- - Didn't like the one light for the blinkers. *shrugs*

- - He had that suspension setup something sick! I
really enjoyed throwing that bike through the corners.
It really was so easy on 1500 mile Dragon GTS tires.

- - Harry has been riding for 35 years, but when we
swapped bikes I was his shadow (not like he was really
trying to lose me) was a great feeling, bike gave
great confidence.

- - 50+mpg is something amazing, I really need to see
this for myself.

All and all a pleasurable experience. Hope to be
apart of this mailing list rather than a lurker though
I patrol too many lists already! (LIME Longriders
list, Sportbikes.net, Katanaplanet.com,
Maximum-Suzuki.com, www.sport-touring.net, various
yahoo Groups lists:cb-750, cb1000-big-one, farkbikers,
GSX1100F, gsxf, honda_nighthawk, hornet900,
katana-owners, SOC-USA,
http://www.zx1112.bigbikeworld.com, etc. etc. etc.)

Thanks!

Bryce
