I don't know about the Highland pants, but the Highland suit has
a full zip-in, quilted insulating liner which can be zipped apart
at the waist adding to its versitility. As to water resistance,
I suggest you treat any riding garment with NikWax's wash-in
treatments www.nikwax-usa .
