Well, Headlights. I have been able to see just fine
w/stock bulbs, low beams are weak but high seems to
work ok during nighttime hours. I have heard that
some of the Phillips bulbs are little/no better than
stock. I have also heard that some of the Phiaa lamps
are downright flamethrowers at a cost of nearly $100
US/pair.
Anyone here invest in a set of these spendy little
bastards? Are they worth it? I think the more light I
can make, the easier I can be seen through a cell
phone, vanity mirror, or newspaper (inattentive
motorists). I use highbeams ALWAYS during daylight
hours at the risk of pissing people off but increasing
my likelyhood of being seen.
Otherwise:
1. Put this pig on a diet, -15 lbs would be ok w/me
2. Better horn
3. Hydraulic clutch (ok -13 lbs then)
4. Suspension, but I guess I didnt pay for a Ducatti.
Sorry I dont have a longer list, its just a great bike
for my needs. 25K trouble free miles..... Seat lock is
a little tricky w/luggage but still do-able in about
10 sec w/fancy finger work.
I fall in love w/it all over again with each ride.
