[ST] belt drive

Yes,
Lets keep the SSA. It a pleasure to remove the rear wheel just to take
it to the dealer for a tire change when you don't have the time to do it
yourself. Besides, it looks great and higher tech than the DSA.
Although a belt or shaft drive would be nice since we're wishing.

Dave "Olde Dawg" Bardell

A Kawasaki engineer was asked about putting belt drives on large tourers and
his response was that belt drives were only good for about 440ccs. The
inquirer mentioned that the Hardleys use them, and the Kwacker guy's
response was that that was about equivalent to a Japanese 440.
As I recall, Kawasaki used belt drives for awhile on 440s.
